Australia's only movie-related theme park, Warner Bros. Movie World in the Gold Coast is located next to Wet n Wild on the Pacific Motorway approximately 20km north of Surfers Paradise and 50km south of Brisbane. The park features an array of thrilling rides, roller coasters and simulators all based on movies, shows and their characters. Also in the park is a 4D cinema, movie exhibits and various sections based around themes such as the wild west, cartoons and movie scenes with each usually coming with their own unique ride. There are also plenty of shows scheduled showcasing stunts, film-making and special effects. A parade is scheduled daily while movie and children's characters usually roam the street allowing visitors to have their photo taken with them. Lining the walkways of the park are a range of shops selling movie-related toys, apparel, souvenirs, memorabilia, gifts and homewares.
