Known affectionately as "the Alice", Alice Springs is the second largest town in Australia's Northern Territory.

Once just a simple telegraph station, Alice Springs has transformed itself into one of Australia's major towns where tourists flock through on their way to the nearby attractions of the outback.

Remnants of its pioneering days remain today along with an interesting range of ecological attractions and museums.
