Greenmount Beach in Coolangatta

The seaside town of Coolangatta boasts some of the best surf and beaches available along the Gold Coast.

Generally considered to be Coolangatta's town beach, Greenmount Beach is a good surfing spot with gentle breaks for beginners and is located between the popular Coolangatta Beach to the south and Rainbow Bay up north.

More experienced surfing enthusiasts usually head for the more challenging breaks and swells at Snapper Rocks and Point Danger which lie further along the peninsula.
