Kurrawa Park, with its serene pathways and parklands, provides a picturesque backdrop to the attractive beaches at Broadbeach. Its proximity to the beach as well as the picnic areas, barbecue facilities and a park for children make it an ideal place for families to relax enjoy the outdoors. The park is a popular venue for a range of entertainment events and festivals ranging from classical singers to fireworks displays. On the first and third Sunday of each month, the Broadbeach Art and Craft Market is held here and features various items on display and for sale including gifts, books, clothes, household items and jewellery. Nearby, the famous Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club watches over the many beachgoers at the beach and hosts the annual Australian Surf Lifesaving Titles held sometime in March. Within walking distance from the park is the lively Broadbeach Mall and Surf Parade as well as the Oasis Shopping Centre.
