Located beside the serene waters of ((laguna-bay|Laguna Bay), the stylish Noosa Heads is the Noosa area's main hub of activity. Chic and trendy shopping and dining outlets are located along the beachside Hastings St while more down-to-earth options can also be found further inland along Sunshine Beach Rd. Once consisting of nothing more than a few tiny beach shacks, the town was first discovered by surfers drawn to the area by the surf breaks that curled around the Noosa National Park headland.
